Studies: Faculty of Sculpture, State Higher College of Plastic Arts, Poznan. Diploma in Prof Bazyli Wojtowicz’s studio, 1950. After the war he was working on the reconstruction of reliefs in the tenements of the Old Town in Poznan. One of the founders and leading artists of the Artistic Group R-55, who based their creative pursuits on realism. Among others author of: monument to the Victims of Forced-Labour Camp in City Stadium in Poznan; monument commemorating Prisoners of the Nazi Extermination Camp in Żabików near Poznan. Laureate of competitions for designs of monuments (not realized). Author of sculptures, paintings, drawings, stage designs.
