Studies: State Institute of Fine Arts, Lvov in the studio of Prof Marian Wnuk and Prof Józef Starzyński, 1938-1941. Pedagogue of the Lvov School of Artistic Industry, 1944-1945. He continued studies  at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in the studio of Prof Franciszek Strynkiewicz. Diploma 1950. Lecturer of the State Higher College of Plastic Arts, Gdansk, 1946-1987. Professor, deputy vice-chancellor, head of the Department of Architectural and Sculptural Design, dean of the Faculty of Sculpture. From 1964 to 1965 professor of sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Damascus. Member of AIAP (Association International des Arts Plastique), co-founder of the Association of Sculptors and the Society of Sopot’s Friends. He took part in many international exhibitions and in the 1st Biennial of  Sculpture in Metal in Warsaw 1968. Author of the Monument to the Defenders and Liberators in Gdynia-Redłowo, Monument to the Fallen in 1939 in Chojnice and outdoor sculptures in Nałeczów, Stargard, Oliwa and Gdynia. Decorated with the Gold Cross of Merit (twice), Knight’s Cross of the Order of Poland Reborn.
