Studies: Faculty of Sculpture, Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw, in the studio of Prof Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz, 1957-1962. To complement his studies, he returned to the Academy (1983-84). Diploma 1984. From 1961 to 1967 he was working as a designer in the Plumbing Installations in Constructions Company, Warsaw. Since 1983 he was the head of the Sculpture Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, The Nicolas Copernicus University in Torun. He was made professor in 1995. Member of the Board if the Association of European Sculpture Symposiums. Author of monuments and outdoor projects (in Japan, Denmark, Canada), small scale sculptures and medals.
