Andrzej Pawłowski
Studies: Medical Academy, Warsaw, diploma 1957. Stipend of the Philadelphia University, 1959-1960; British Council, Oxford, 1965-1966. Dermatologist. In 1973 he left for Canada where he worked as an assistant lecturer and then professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Toronto University. From 1978 to 1983 he studied sculpture under Edward Koniuszy. Since 1985 member of the Sculptors Society of Canada (SSC) and the Polish-American Artists Association (PAAS). Writer, historian, author of many books, laureate of : 2nd prize La Puente, California, 1986; 2nd prize Nepeth Mundo Society, 1986; Polish-American Artists Society (PAAS), 1988. Danuta and Andrzej Pawlowskis presented to the Consul-General of the Republic of Poland a collection of over seventy works of Polish artists living in emigration.
