Anna Rodzińska-Iwańska

Date of birth 1933

Studies: Academy of Fine Arts, Krakow (1951), then State Higher College of Plastic Arts, Poznan, diploma in the studio of Prof Bazyli Wojtowicz, 1957. Didactic work at the Faculty of Painting, Graphic Art and Sculpture, in the Sculpture Studio of her alma mater (1969-1991). Laureate of, among others:  the 1st degree award of the Ministry of Culture and Art for outstanding artistic and didactic achievements, 1991. Decorated with the Honoured Worker of Culture Badge, 1972; Gold Medal of Guardian of Places of National Memory, 1982. Author of the monument of the Poznan Army, 1982. Initiator of social activities at her university and in art circles. She took part in solo and group exhibitions in Poland and in exhibitions of Polish art abroad (Paris, Vienna, Moscow, Budapest, Ravenna, Berlin, Leipzig). Author of small scale and outdoor sculptures, medals, paintings, graphics, interior designs.
