Jacek Jagielski

Studies: Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture, State Higher College of Plastic Arts, Poznan (1979-1984). Diploma with distinction in sculpture and drawing obtained in studios of professors Józef Kopczyński and Jarosław Kozłowski (1984). Full professor since 2008. Works at the Faculty of Sculpture and Spatial Actions of University of the Arts in Poznan, where he conducts a sculpture studio. He has performed various functions at the university, including that of deputy dean and dean and of the faculty as well as the deputy vice-chancellor for art at the University of the Arts in Poznan. Author of sculptures, spatial projects, drawings. Stipends of the Ministry of Culture and Art (1984), laureate of many awards, awarded Silver Medal of Minister of Culture and National Heritage for Merit to Culture ‘Gloria Artis’ (2014).
