Studies: Academy of Fine Arts, Krakow, 1950-1955. He spent the 1st year in Franciszek Kalfas’s studio, 2nd year  - Stanisław Popławski’s, 3rd year – Xawery Dunikowski’s . Diploma 1956. Member of the Krakow Group Association. Represented Poland at the 9th Art Biennial in São Paulo (1967/1968). Laureate of inter alia: Award of Art Critique (1973); Award for his action Artistic Mass II, at the Warsaw Festival of Fine Arts (1977); 2nd degree Award of Ministry of Culture and Art (1981), Award of the Committee of Independent Culture ‘Solidarity’ for his work in the field of sculpture (1987). Author of happenings, manifestations and sculptures of simple form, built from wood, fieldstones, hemp string, burlap, leather straps.
