Studies: Special Faculty of Sculpture, State School of Decorative Arts and Artistic Industry, 1927-1932, then Academy of Fine Arts, Krakow in Prof Xawery Dunikowski’s studio. Relegated due to arrears in tuition, he started studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in Prof Tadeusz Breyer’s studio. From 1935 to 1937 - stipend from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Author of monuments, among others of: Frederic Chopin, Żelazowa Wola; Adam Mickiewicz, Gorzów Wielkopolski, small scale sculptures, medals and coins. Laureate of the main award in the competition to design coins: 2, 5 and 10 zloty, 1958.
