Krzysztof Franaszek

Author of sculptures, installations and drawings. Graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2006), doctorate in Fine Arts (2013). Stipend from Christian Jankowski’s studio at Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart (2005), as well as from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2009, 2018, 2020). Since 2006 he has worked as an assistant professor at the Sculpture Department, Faculty of Interior Design, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Since 2013 he has been an independent lecturer and supervisor of diploma projects at the Warsaw School of Information Technology (WIT), at the direction Graphics. In 2020 he was implementing an international project of art academies within the programme of National Agency for Academic Exchange ‘Katamaran’. Author of artistic projects in urban spaces in Poland, the Netherlands, Germany and Lithuania. The artist collaborates with Le Guern Gallery in Warsaw. He creates abstract forms and light installations in metal, wood, plastic and by using 3D print.
