Nadiia Velychko (Ukraina)

Born in Krasny Luch, in Luhansk Oblast in Ukraine. Designer and graphic artist, lecturer at the State Academy of Design and Art in Kharkov. She practices graphic design of books, and has supervised the publication of over 200 editions of children’s literature, popular science books and non-fiction. Volunteer and participant of the International Triennial of Ecological Poster ‘Blok 4’. One of the curators of the exhibition Chernobyl 30, Fukushima 5, for which she was awarded a diploma of the Association of Ukrainian Designers. In January 2022 she defended her doctoral dissertation ‘Interactivity as a Factor in Children’s Book Design’, she actively participates in forums, discussions and conferences, as well as publishes in professional magazines from the scope of design and history of art. She gives lectures and conducts workshops for wide audiences. Participant  and winner of many Ukrainian and international competitions.
