Paweł Grobelny

Date of birth 1979

Studies: Faculty of Architecture and Design, Academy of Fine Arts, Poznan. He continued studies at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and École Nationale de Beaux-Arts in Lyon.  In the framework of The European Union Year of Creativity and Innovation, selected to the group of ‘100 Young Creative Talents’. Stipend of the French Government in Paris, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and residential programmes. He designs furniture, interiors, public spaces, creates original collections of minimalist form. Author of outdoor projects, among others: the city furniture in the Zhongshan gardens in Shanghai and Albertine in Brussels; on the river Midouze, Mont-de-Marsan, France; in La Defense district in Paris. Implementing projects for urban spaces, he attempts to achieve harmonious, non-invasive resolutions with respect for the natural surroundings. Curator of exhibitions of design, lecturer at the Faculty of Design, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and School of Form in Poznan.
