Studies: Institute of Fine Arts in Vilnius (1st year), the Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw, 1958-1964. Diploma in the studio of Prof Franciszek Strynkiewicz, 1964. Collaborated with the magazine ‘Szpilki’. Participation in group exhibitions in Poland, inter alia: 2nd and 3rd Festival of Fine Arts at the Zachęta Gallery (1963, 1970), exhibitions of Polish art abroad and international sculpture competitions. Representative of Poland at the Art Biennale in Venice (1984). Author of the monument in honour of Poles Fallen in the Years 1939-1945, Leipzig, for which he obtained gold medal of the Council for the Protection of Struggle and Martyrdom Sites. Author of sculptures, graphic designs, satirical cartoons.
