In 2006 the artist started work on one of his most extended sculptural series titled The Innocent. This series does not refer explicitly to biblical motifs but it still alludes to the problems which have their roots in the Christian ethics. It speaks about innocence and sin in a general sense. It does not remain indifferent to the issue of abortion. The sculptures present figures of children lying on their backs. Their spread out legs and arms emphasize vulnerability and drama of abandonment.
