Sculpture in the public space for Niepodległa

The programme’s prime objective is to introduce changes in perceiving shared surroundings and to improve the quality of the public space in Poland by placing there a larger number of high level sculptural artworks. The programme enables obtaining funds for realization of contemporary artists’ projects responding to the needs of local communities, for conservation of artworks, buying out deposits of ready sculptures, purchase of sculpture designs, casting of works made by Polish and foreign artists so that they can be situated in the public spaces indoors and outdoors, e.g. in the parks, town squares, in courtyards and generally accessible seats of public institutions, such as institutions of culture or colleges.
