David Seaton

Studies: Central Saint Martin’s School of Art, London (graduated in 1974). He collaborated in the establishment of the Motor House Studio in Yorkshire, serving artists as a place for creative work. Laureate of awards, inter alia: British Council, Yorkshire Arts, 1991; British Council, Poland, 1994; Gulbenkian Foundation, President of Azores, British Council, Lisbon, 1995; London Docklands Development Corporation, 1996; Watershed Foundation for the Ceramic Arts, Maine, USA, 1999. Organizer and participant of international art symposiums. He lives and works in Andalusia, Spain. Initially he was mainly creating monumental sculptures, at present he creates paintings, drawings and collages.
