Elżbieta Pietras-Wysocka

Studies: Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw, 1969-1974. Laureate of the award of the Department of Culture and Art of the Town Hall in Poznan at the 1^st Biennial of Small Sculptural Forms, 1978. Stipend of the Ministry of Culture and Art, 1978, 1981. Participation in solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, inter alia: in Sofia, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Berlin, Paris. Long-standing curator of open-air workshops organized by the Warsaw Region of the Association of Polish Artists Interart. Honoured with the Gold Badge of the Association of Polish Artists (1993); French Silver Medal Mérite Philanthropique (2000); Silver Medal for Merits to Culture Gloria Artis (2006). Participant of sculpture workshops and symposiums. Author of small scale and monumental sculptures, medals, paintings.
