Studies: State Higher College of Plastic Arts, Wrocław, 1946-1952. Co-founder of the Wrocław group, 1962-1976. Initiated and co-created many artistic actions of international range. Originator of analytical abstraction, aiming to minimize the form in which he dealt with the problem of the light. Light and colour became the main subject of the artist’s interest in the second half of the 60s. Author of spatial forms, paintings, drawings, conceptual art and mail art.
