Graduate of the State Technical Secondary Art School, Zakopane (1949-1954). Studies at the Faculty of Sculpture, Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw, in the studios of Prof Ludwika Nitschowa and Prof Franciszek Strynkiewicz (1954 -1960). Diploma with distinction in 1960. Since 1988 academic lecturer at The Nicolas Copernicus University in Torun. From 1978 to 1985 he directed the conservation and reconstruction works of the choir screen at the St. Mary’s in the Capitol Church in Cologne (Germany). Author of outdoor sculptures, small sculptural forms, medals as well as conservation and reconstruction of architectural elements.
