Stanisław Radwański

Date of birth 1941

Studies: State Higher College of Plastic Arts, Gdansk, diploma under Prof Stanisław Horno-Poplawski, 1968. Pedagogue at his alma mater, 1973-2011, professor. He was the deputy dean, dean, vice-chancellor and head of the Department of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts, Gdansk. In 1996 he was head of a sculpture studio at Radford University, Virginia, USA. He built outdoor sculptures in Kościerzyna, Lublin, Ostromeck, Avallon and Oleron (France), monument of Jacek Malczewski in Radom, as well as sculptures for the Baltic Philharmonic and Pomerania Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz. Participant of sculpture workshops and creative stays in Orońsko. Laureate of Silver Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis, 2011.
