Studies: Faculty of Sculpture, Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw, 1956-1962. Diploma in the studio of Prof Marian Wnuk, 1962. Member of the group Rekonesans. He was the deputy vice-chancellor and twice dean at the Faculty of Sculpture. Full professor of his alma mater. He took part in the 1st Biennial of Sculpture in Metal, Warsaw, 1968. Among others laureate of: Grand Prix UNESCO at the International Exhibition of Contemporary Art, Monte Carlo, 1965; the Brother Albert Award, 1985. Author of monuments of John Paul II in Buenos Aires, Łowicz, Żyrardów; monument of Józef Piłsudski in Częstochowa, 1997. Author of monuments, monumental sculpture, bas-relief sculpture, medals, drawings. Participant of sculpture workshops and creative stays in Orońsko.
