He made his debut in the 1970s making experimental films. In 1984 he created one of his most important works Continuity of Infinity. It was followed by a series of short film forms defining Rytka’s artistic stance. In his art he often refers to the concept of transcendence. Since 1979 member of the Association of Polish Artists-Photographers. Initially connected with the independent Lodz circles of ‘Kultura Zrzuty’, then the Wschodnia Gallery and the FF Gallery in Lodz, he participated in solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad  (Germany, Canada, Belgium, Hungary, USA, Austria, Japan, Sweden, Italy, Brazil). Laureate of the Silver Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis (2009) and The Katarzyna Kobro Award (2011). Author of films, photographs, installations, objects, drawings.
