Studies: Academy of Fine Arts, Krakow, 1960-1966. Diploma with honours in the studio of Prof Wanda Ślędzińska, 1966. In 1995 he was made full professor. From 1978 to 2002, with gaps due to regulations, he was the dean of the Faculty of Sculpture, in total for fifteen years. From 2002 to 2005 he was the deputy vice-chancellor of his alma mater. From 1991 to 2009 he was conducting a sculpture studio. Member of the Programme Council of the Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko. Participant of international sculpture symposiums in France and Italy (the 80s and 90s). He often obtained distinctions in sculpture competitions. Author of small-scale and monumental sculptures, monuments, among others: of Stanisław Wyspiański in Biecz (1985).
